every town, city or village celebrates Christmas in their own way whether that would be putting up a Christmas tree, or setting up a scene from the Nativity in their local church.  There are pictures Facebook and Twitter. Of all these wonderful places in the world, but I wanted to see how people celebrate in different cultures and no matter where the in the world how they celebrate this festive period.

I have just spent 10 minutes dictating a blog, and in the space of three word commands I have managed to delete the entire lot.  So I am going to try and write it again 🙂

Christmas comes around this time every year were people spend millions of pounds on gifts for their loved ones, is Christmas becoming too commercialised?  With television and the Internet consumers are bombarded with sales, discount prices, shopping channels, you name it we got it.  Has the meaning of Christmas become a much money you can spend on one person, or should it be the love which, people have for one another.  Some people think it is about having the latest gift having that one thing which nobody else has got.

Justin think about all those people who haven’t got what we have got now, and think about the people who gave their lives so we can have what we want to do what we want and have a happy and merry Christmas.

December 1, 2012 at 9:06 pm | Posted in Dyslexia | Leave a comment

sometimes people say this  dyslexia   is not real.

But the definition says:

Dyslexia is a very broad term defining a learning disability that impairs a person’s fluency or comprehension accuracy in being able to read,[1] and which can manifest itself as a difficulty with phonological awarenessphonological decoding, processing speed, orthographic codingauditory short-term memory, language skills/verbal comprehension, and/or rapid naming.[2][3][

Dyslexia is distinct from reading difficulties resulting from other causes, such as a non-neurological deficiency with vision or hearing, or from poor or inadequate reading instruction.[5][6] It is believed that dyslexia can affect between 5 and 10 percent of a given population although there have been no studies to indicate an accurate percentage

but I’m not here to talk about facts and figures I’m here to talk about how it affects a person who suffers with it.

I record it or once a week on local radio station where I live, I think the studio like to be else all the difference I find it hard to read the this named and the titles of the songs so sometimes, ok the majority of the time I get these names wrong, but sometimes a little bit embarrassing because I then have to go and ask people in the office of how to pronounce that particular song or that particular artist.

It is bad sometime when you are sending a message to someone and it looks fine to you, but then when the person get a text message it doesn’t make sense. Sometimes people say about you being laid, but sometimes it can’t be helped. I find personal sometimes it’s even harder when come to social media because sometimes it’s comical would make his fellow mistake or your status is not make sense. Sometimes we make an absolute fool yourself.

But I have not let my dyslexia from getting to I want to be the world, I have got through university and have got higher National diploma, that’s thanks to lots of support from the people around me that helped me get through university.

But now, I stands at the crossroads think to myself what do I do, in one mind I think to myself should I drop my show and forget about it and carry on with what doing?  Or should I plod along and improve my technique when it comes to pronounce in names.  This predicament which, I apply myself standing in at this moment in time, I know people will say dust yourself off and carry on but sometimes it’s hard to do that, there are many different technologies that can help people fuller life like the minute I’m dictated this blog with equipment that was provided to me by the government but still would struggle to effectively read and write properly in a jobs to. I know most people try to understand what almost have suffered do suffer with dyslexia is hard to explain how this condition affects people or effects you as person.

That is why I don’t thought that I have dyslexia on my CV because I think employer will look at the and think why do we implore you when he’s got dyslexia were we can take somebody else who we don’t have to spend any money on.

So I looked into 2013 and hope for better things to happen.

My Past Weekend’s

November 18, 2012 at 7:24 pm | Posted in Blogging | Leave a comment

it has been a busy couple of weekends me because I have had a few shows going out on a radio station in Salford. These show were based on remembrance for all fours people men and women who have given their wives in awe of the different conflicts which, our country has been in over the past number of years.  The first show was talking about how soldiers are airlifted out of Afghanistan or any other theatre of war which they might be in, and sent back to Birmingham to the specialist hospital on which deals with soldiers.  We had the C.E.O of the hospital in talking about how they will be be doing their remembrance service and also how is a they help their families to deal with their relatives being injured or even paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The second show was talking about remembrance, a sure hand interviews from veterans who had survived wars and was talking about their experiences which they had been in.  One of the veterans was talking about how in Gallipoli the local police officers refused to go into a shop where there was from terrorists in, this turned out to be an ambush which, our brave soldiers saw them was injured and some were killed.  He was also talking about how he succumbed to London to take part in the Royal Albert Hall on remembrance service as they flag bearer.

On the Sunday I was put that the radio station and we observed the two-minute silence where we remembered or ball to fall in the wars to give us our freedom.  We also started the big cleanup of the radio station, we cleaned out at the studios talk of the equipment out and give it a thorough cleaning and put a new desk in and reassemble old equipment in their.  This weekend I spent at building a database which I have completed 🙂 so thought of myself able to treat.

So I did I went out to Manchester and didn’t get back in talk about 2:30 p.m. this morning, so I spent the day prepping for a show which I do another radio station and also getting all my washing done and tidying my room which, I have been successful. Going to continue this in my room off after I’ve finished this blog.

anti-racism protest

October 21, 2012 at 7:36 pm | Posted in sport | Leave a comment

football is a sport which, millions of people enjoy but unfortunately these days it over run with racism.  Over the past six months we have seen footballers in court alleged to have made racist comments to one another.  These footballers are supposed to be an example of sportsmanship to young and old but it seems they do not take this very seriously.  We hand the Olympics in this country in 2012 and there was no racism at all throughout the games.  today we have seen people like Rio Ferdand, Anton Ferdinand, Steven Pienaar  all not wearing the “kick it out anti racism T-shirts” personally I think footballers are paid far too much and other athletes who take part in other professional sporting gains get paid to less.

It is about time the FA who governs the world of sport either sends out a strong and decisive message which says that racism is unacceptable in any sport.  They should force clubs which have a history of racism in their fans to play this behind closed doors.  We all know that this racism comes from a minority and the majority of fans are respectful of this.

But people who are celebrities who are in the public eye should take a more proactive approach when it comes to promoting anti-racism because they lead by example and what young people or old people see celebrities doing they reciprocate this because they see them doing it so they think that it is okay for them to do it as well.

this is embarrassing to us as a country never mind embarrassing the clubs and which is happening in the year in which we held the Olympics racism should not be in sport.  After all we are trying to create a positive legacy for sport over all and we all need to work together to explore, get rid, to completely eradicate racism in all sporting worlds.

Random Week/Weekend

October 21, 2012 at 4:46 pm | Posted in Blogging | 1 Comment

Its been a Random Week/Weekend OK. with not on till Thursday, when I ended up in Manchester with my mates from the uni.  Got to Manchester about 9:30 p.m. Met my mates in the print works.  The one thing that I noticed about the print works was it was very quiet compared to when we were at Uni.  The one thing that I have learnt is that the night buses only run on a Monday and Friday on a weekday. So we had to.  In a hotel on the outskirts of Manchester in a premiere inn which, you thought would have been not the expensive on a weekday but it was £60.

A hole about 10 a.m. and go on the Washing done.

On Saturday morning, went to the radio station which I volunteer on a Saturday that was okay.  But then in the evening went to Blackpool with mum .  I thought because it was 100th year of the Blackpool illuminations they were a couple with more imaginative than they did, went down towards a placards  is and they were the  say more than last year there was a few new ones bought by the majority of them were the same as last year’s.

This mind however I thought myself seemed a nice day I shall take my dog out to Moss bank Park which are did it was nice and warm even though there was a little bit of a breeze it felt like a summer day.

And that was my random weekend/week.
